 What's Poppin' Homies & Homegirls?!

It's that time of year when the weather starts acting FUNNY – Fall Transition (yikes). You know, that time when you're ready to start wearing boots and layers, but you have to dial it alllllll the way back because two words – Indian Summer. You wake up thinking it's gonna be a cool day and by 12pm it's shmoking hot and you're sweating in your cashmere 🤦🏾‍♀️. Yep! I wasn't falling for it! Lol. Although I wanted to start putting together Fall looks, I can't deal with bbq-ing myself (my internal thermostat is already permanently set to 100, I can't deal with unnecessary heat 🔥). With this outfit, I'm serving you the perfect balance of Fall and Not So Fall. I went for a long-sleeve, oversized button-up shirt and styled it with over-the-knee boots and a statement choker. Wearing long sleeves in a thin material are a great way to look like you're ready for fall but not feel like you're ready for winter. I kept the buttons down and rolled my sleeves to add a little zudge (don't ask me, I made the word up 🤷🏾‍♀️) and allow me some ventilation – because this global warming is not playing with us hun-ty. I finished the look with my absolute favorite handbag right now, the Louis Vuitton Palm Springs Mini. Hope you guys love it! You'll find all the deets below. If you re-create this simple & edgy look, tag me on Instagram so I can see!
