Hey Guys Hey!! 👋🏾
Today I'm sharing one of my holy grail post-workout shake recipes with you. A lot of people always ask me what protein supplement I take and how I stay consistent. To be honest, it's easiest for me when I just have a shake after my workouts. When I drink a shake before I train, it makes me feel super heavy and lazy (this is no bueno for the love of the swole 💪🏾 lol). So anyway, the ingredients are below, as well as step by step pictures. This is actually really quick and easy; I have no idea why I took so many pictures lol. Try this out and let me know how you like it!
1 whole organic banana 🍌
3 strawberries 🍓
2 heaping scoops of BSN Syntha-6 Vanilla Ice Cream protein powder (use only one if you're not trying to gain mass like me!)
Califa Vanilla Almond milk (feel free to use any brand you like, but this almond milk is so damn good!)
*sometimes I add a whole egg to this shake when I'm under my protein intake for the day (promise you won't taste it)
So first, I break up the banana and drop it into my Ninja single-serve cup like so...
Secondly, I cut up three strawberries (you can also use frozen strawberries), and add them to the cup!
Then, I add my almond milk. I usually eyeball this, but if you want a thicker, smoothie-like texture, use less milk!
Lastly, I throw my two scoops of protein powder on top. If you use a mass gainer, 1 scoop is fine! I recently switched back to regular protein from mass gainer, so I just double up on scoops.
Easy as 1, 2, 3 – just blend it all up and drank! Can't say I never put ya'll on lol
